Our brief for this project was to create a title sequence of a film of our choice. We could either work on our own or get into groups, so i got in to a group that involved me, Terry, Lauren and Aiden. We come up with our own ideas and genres of films so we could pick what we was going to do. I really wanted to do action, thriller but as a group we all decided to go with horror because we enjoy those types of films. We finally settled on a zombie movie so as a group we started to watch zombie film titles to see what was in common. Lozzie came up with the idea of making the title sequence online. Where we would use social media for example Facebook because our three main protagonists where teenage boys. We thought that this idea was good because we don't think anyone else has tried it before. We had trouble of thinking of a name for the film but because or sub genres are horror, thriller and comedy we decided to call our film a Zombie movie. We thought it would be better if our zombie movie was a bit of a parody. Our title sequence shows a lot of the three main protagonists because it is Facebook based so it shows the protagonists profiles. The photographs we have used show that the teenagers are friends and like to have a good joke around. There isn't that much images of zombies because we wanted to make it so that it is before the zombie apocalypse and the way that the teenage boys dent know about the apocalypse. Even tho there isn't much images of zombies there are some connotations to show that zombies are in our film. Throughout the title sequence we have put things that teenage boys would like for example xbox that has left for dead with it, walking dead, zombie land. This all shows what the typical teenage boys like but also what could be in the film. The title sequence doesn't have the typical conventions for a zombie film so this starts to confuse the audience and makes them think what the film is about so it forces them to watch the film to find out.
